Beyond Books

With my little experience in the M.Sc programme I have come to realize that beyond the ideas in books, the degree offers more; it is about intellectual thinking and brainstorming. Yea, the books come in handy, however, students are expected to think and relate outside the books and forge knowledge base beyond its current stance.
You want to blow your minds? I think you should try higher degrees.

Journalistic, Predictive, Perceptive and Academic Publications

"Life with twists and turns" is a mantra I grew up to acknowledge. On Nigeria's independence day celebration, I got a new dimension to its meaning.
We had the 'Graduate Seminar' class with Professor Akintoye.
In the class I discovered that there is a wide gap between academic and journalistic write-ups and a similar wide gap between perceptive and predictive write-ups.
My love for writing and my love for academics didn't converge and I felt I had to experience a paradigm shift, since no matter my level of modification, it couldn't possibly meet up with my career's expectation.
Weighing my options, I'd rather appeal to an academic audience.
Research is paramount...

Wasn't bad...

My first class today was far more than inspiring. Going back to the class room was fun.
Discovered I lost my handwriting; more so now I have to (not) abbreviate: Gosh! not nice. However, in all it was good.
